Description
Beautiful Sassanian horse in solid cast bronze form. Detail to head with raised circle surrounds and inner indented surface for eyes. Indented nostrils and detailed ears. Sassanid. Northern Iran, likely Mazanderan. Circa 3rd to 5th centuries AD

Very good ancient condition with lovely verdigris surface to the bronze. Presented on a custom made stand.
