Description
Beautiful large size Roman Terracotta oil lamp with blue/green glaze and decorated with two fighting gladiators. One of the gladiators appears to be striking the other who is in the act of falling. Decorative concentric rings to upper surface. Possibly a votive object rather than for everyday use.

Eastern Roman Empire Circa 2nd to 3rd Century AD

Very Good ancient condition with losses to glaze as per photos. Small loss of decorative nub on left side top surface.
