Judean Silver Bracelet with Lions Head Terminals holding a Menorah

Description
A lovely Judean Silver Bracelet with two decoratively twisted hoops, and facing Lion Head Terminals, supporting a central bezel. The central bezel is bifacial with a Menorah on both sides. An articulate join between the hoops and animal heads. One of the earliest and most famous images of the Menorah is on the Arch of Titus, Rome built to commemorate his triumphal parade following the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE.
Another famous ancient image was discovered in 2009 in the ruins of a synagogue in Magdala. On what is now called the Magdala Stone, with a menorah featured on a large stone architectural block.
Origin
Judaean Circa 2nd to 3rd Century AD.

The bracelet is displayed open and is 15cm in this form. Width 7 cm. Height on stand 17.5cm.
Condition
Very good ancient condition. Tarnishing and patina consistent with age.
