Description
Large size Turquoise blue faience shabti New Kingdom 19th to 20th Dynasty. Rounded front with a flat back. Wearing a tripartite wig, with crossed arms and holding a hoe in each hand, cords for a water pot hanging from back of each shoulder. A seed bag suspended below the wig. Detailing with the eyes, eyebrows, mouth etc outlined in black. The hieroglyph partially reads “The Osiris…..” Old repair to upper body areas. Cf.
