Byzantine lead rectangular plaque with the bust of a warrior/warrior Saint wearing scaled armour. Cross to the upper section of plaque and lettering impressions to both sides of object.

Origin

Byzantine Empire Circa 6th to 8th Century AD

Object 3.5cm x 3cm. Height on stand 8.5cm.

Very good Ancient condition. Nice ancient patina. Presented on a custom made stand.
