A beautiful Achaemenid stone cylinder seal with imagery containing Bulls and human heads. Imprint shows two exterior borders of human heads  with a central strand that includes a centralized bulls head. celestial imagery including the sun and stars as well.  For reference to Achaemenid seals The Erlenmeyer Collection Sotheby’s London 9th July 1992 Lots 219 – 222

Ancient Persia or Near East. Circa 5th to 4th Century BC

Seal 3.2 cm high by 2 CM wide. Height of stand 12 CM. Width of entire stand 11 CM. Measurement of imprint 8 CM x 4CM

Very good ancient condition. Imprint of seal very clear.
