Bactrian Bronze Horse Seal

Description

A beautiful little Bactrian bronze seal in the form of a horse.  Cast with a suspension loop so it can be worn as an amulet it has a seal in the base of the horses stand. Presented o0n a custom made stand with a casting of the seal in white plaster.

Origin

Bactria circa 2000 BC was an ancient Iranian civilization based in the area south of the Oxus River (modern Amu Darya) and north of the mountains of the Hindu Kush, an area within the north of modern Afghanistan.

Measurements

Horse itself 4cm in length 4.5cm in height. Total height on stand 8.5cm Length 13cm
