Description

Ancient wooden carved figure of a Priest or Servant figure. Possibly part of a larger wooden diorama. Detailed carved and painted facial features. Remains of stucco to head and body. Remains of pins to arms, lost in antiquity.

Ancient Egypt. Circa Middle Kingdom 2000 to 1500 BC

Object height 23cm. Height on stand 25cm

Condition

Ancient condition with losses of both arms. Good carved facial features still evident. Remains of ancient stucco and paint. Presented on a custom made base.
